1. All work done by We Fix Leaking Showers will comply with the building code of Australia.
2. Before We Fix Leaking Showers starts any work the owner must notify We Fix Leaking Showers of anything that may affect the ability of We Fix Leaking Showers to undertake the work such as previous repair work to the site.
3. All areas where the work will be performed must be kept dry 12 hours prior to and 12 hours after the work is carried out.
4. The cost of plumbing or painting that may be associated with work done by We Fix Leaking Showers is the responsibility of the owner.
5. We Fix Leaking Showers will maintain all insurances to cover its liabilities prior to commencing any work.
6. If We Fix Leaking Showers needs to carry out any additional work arising from pre-existing defects, We Fix Leaking Showers may add an additional charge above the quoted price to take into account the additional work.
7. We Fix Leaking Showers will add an additional charge above the quoted price if the owner makes any misrepresentation to We Fix Leaking Showers that causes additional work above what was quoted.
8. We Fix Leaking Showers may, at its discretion, refuse to carry out the work if there is a health and safety issues on site.
9. We Fix Leaking Showers will complete the work within a reasonable time, unless there is a delay caused by industrial disputes, inclement weather, unavailability of materials or matters beyond the control of We Fix Leaking Showers.
10. Any rectification work carried out by We Fix Leaking Showers after the completion date shall not extend any warranty period.
11. Any materials used by We Fix Leaking Showers will be fit for purpose.
12. Any repairs or alterations to the dwelling by We Fix Leaking Showers will be done so the dwelling is fit for occupation.
13. We Fix Leaking Showers will remove all tools, equipment, rubbish and materials from the site that relates to the work done.
14. We Fix Leaking Showers will provide a guarantee on workmanship for 6 years and 12 months warranty on any regrouting, sealing & caulking from the completion date of the work.
15. In some instances there can be a change in the appearance of tiles due to chemicals used to prepare the area. This is not regarded as a defect or a breach of any warranty.
16. The warranty does not cover damage, fault or failure due to external causes, including accident, misuse, tampering or interference with the product other than by a We Fix Leaking Showers representative. This also includes failure to perform required maintenance, normal wear and tear, fire, flood or any attempt by any person other than an authorised We Fix Leaking Showers representative to adjust or repair the product.
17. The owner must notify We Fix Leaking Showers in writing within 14 business days after becoming aware of any matter that may give rise to a warranty claim. We Fix Leaking Showers will respond within 14 days of receipt of a claim by the owner and request a date and time to inspect the work on site.
18. If a dispute arises in relation to work performed by We Fix Leaking Showers, the owner or We Fix Leaking Showers must give the other party written notice of details of the dispute. Both parties may refer to a mutually agreed third party to assist in resolution of the dispute.
19. The owner must pay the price due to We Fix Leaking Showers on completion of the job unless stated otherwise in the quote.
